About this Role

R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Financial Analyst that supports project management teams by maintaining accurate project job cost records, leading financial reviews, and ensuring timely reporting to the home office. This role serves as the primary financial liaison between the project team and home office, tracking receivables, retainage, and accruals to support healthy project cash flow and accurate financial reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain financial records of project job cost
  • Lead weekly financial meetings with the project management team
  • Submit reclass requests to the home office as needed
  • Pull required documents for the PM team from Spectrum
  • Supply job cost reporting to the operations team
  • Maintain the accrual log and submit reporting for month-end close
  • Submit AR invoicing to the home office
  • Draft lien waivers and supply them to the home office
  • Maintain aged receivables logs and create communications to collect outstanding balances
  • Maintain the log of retainage due and draft invoices to collect retainage

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in project accounting, job cost accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in construction or project-based industries
  • Experience with Spectrum or similar construction/project accounting software preferred
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to project management teams
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, including weekly and month-end reporting cycles
