We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our UniQue Security & Compliance Services team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with network and security tools across cloud and on-premises environments, with a strong understanding of protocols, encryption standards, and identity access management.

For the Network Security Engineer position, we expect you to:

Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
Manage and configure security and networking tools, including firewalls, load balancers, and network components, to ensure optimal security.
Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate security tools with cloud platforms and automate infrastructure deployments.
Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and standards.

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or in a relevant field
Master’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or a similar area will be considered a plus.
3+ years of proven working experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a relevant role.
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies across all OSI layers.
Hands-on experience with at least one or more of the following network/security tools and technologies:

Cloud Networking/Security Technologies: Azure, AWS
Firewalls: Check Point
Load Balancers: F5, Azure Application Gateway (AGW), AWS Application Load Balancer (ALB)/Network Load Balancer (NLB)
L2/L3 Network Components: Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Meraki Switches

Familiarity with network and web-related protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
Knowledge of encryption standards like SSL, TLS, and IPsec.
Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies, including Azure RBAC and AWS IAM.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS Certified Security, or Azure Security Engineer Associate) are advantageous.
Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly in EU countries, 5% of the working time)
