As an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst Level I, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data interchange systems at Jazwares. You will analyze business needs to develop efficient data transfer processes between internal departments and external partners. Additionally, you will support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of EDI systems while providing training to end-users.
What You Will Do:
• Lead the design, development, testing, and full lifecycle implementation of new EDI applications, maps, and processes to support evolving business needs
• Monitor, audit, and oversee day-to-day EDI and batch processes, ensuring seamless data exchanges and optimal interface performance between internal and external systems
• Serve as the primary technical contact to proactively diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex EDI issues, while providing essential on-call technical support for production systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and external EDI vendors to drive successful supplier onboarding, optimize transaction processing, and ensure full compliance with trading partner requirements
• Drive continuous process improvements across all EDI workflows and actively assist in developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap for future system advancements
• Create, maintain, and audit comprehensive documentation, including supplier integration mappings, process guidelines, and activity metrics for senior management reporting

What We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in EDI or a similar technical discipline
- Proven experience working with TrueCommerce or similar EDI platforms, specifically including mapping and setting up mid-to-large size retailers (such as Walmart and Target)
- Deep familiarity with industry-standard EDI documents and transaction codes (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 945), common connectivity methods, and Value-Added Networks (VANs)
- A strong foundation in software design principles and architecture, with additional experience in UX design considered a strong plus
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively train end-users, translate business needs, and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- A proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, prioritize effectively, and execute projects independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
