About us:
Accuris, a company long-known for accelerating innovation in engineering workflows and supporting the vibrancy of the engineering community, launched in May 2023 as a standalone company. Accuris was formerly known as S&P Global’s Engineering Solutions division. The Company is valued for its standards content and workflow solutions like Engineering Workbench, Goldfire, Haystack and Parts Management Solutions.
Under its previous owners, including S&P Global, IHS and IHS Markit, Accuris has been an integral part of the engineering ecosystem for more than 60 years.
What is the project about?
We are building core platform services that enable other products and teams across the organization. These services provide shared capabilities such as:
User and license management
Role-based and policy-based access control
Authorization and authentication
Web-based admin tools for customers
Web-based admin tools for internal users
EMS services provide high-load processing. Some services handle approximately 3 million transactions per day with high performance (200 ms response time).
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in .NET and frontend frameworks such as Angular/React, you will design and develop new features and enhancements across the full technology stack, with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, scalability, and security.
You will own complex components end-to-end, contribute meaningfully to architecture and design discussions, and help translate business requirements into reliable, cloud-native solutions running in AWS. Your work will influence technical direction at the service and component level within a globally used flagship product.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop web applications based on microservice architecture, utilizing Angular/React and .NET technologies, with a focus on ease of use, performance, scalability, and security.
Own complex components end-to-end, from requirements refinement and technical design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Contribute to architecture, framework, database, and service design decisions, proposing improvements aligned with project goals, constraints, and platform standards.
Build and maintain automated tests, quality gates, CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices to ensure secure, maintainable, high-quality delivery.
Contribute to containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, while supporting production operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, IT, ML engineers, data analysts, and researchers in Agile Scrum ceremonies, while mentoring mid-level engineers and sharing best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Key qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5–7+ years of software development experience, including delivery of web-based applications and cloud-native systems.
Fullstack development experience with strong backend expertise in C# .NET Core, REST APIs, and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
Experience with microservices architecture, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Git workflows, automated testing, SQL databases, schema design, performant queries, and ORMs such as Entity Framework.
Key soft skills:
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across development, IT, product, data, research, and engineering teams.
Proactive, curious, and action-oriented approach to solving technical and business problems.
Commitment to engineering excellence, security, maintainability, documentation, pair programming, and continuous improvement.
Good spoken and written English, B2 level or above.
Required Knowledge / Technologies:
Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, RESTful services, and software engineering best practices.
Practical experience with Angular/React and foundational knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend integration.
Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and cloud-native application design.
Azure DevOps for planning, repositories, pipelines, and releases; Git-based version control and collaborative workflows including pull requests and code reviews.
SQL databases, schema design, performant query writing, ORMs such as Entity Framework, automated testing, CI/CD, and quality gates.
What’s in it for you:
Engaging projects focused on building robust, scalable, secure cloud-based solutions in AWS.
Close collaboration with experienced software developers, ML engineers, data analysts, and researchers.
Opportunity to influence technical direction at the service and component level within a flagship product used globally.
