We are seeking an experienced VAS Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems to validate and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of advanced embedded software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS, Graphics & Display systems, and Xen Hypervisor, with hands-on experience testing complex embedded platforms in production environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for validating embedded software across multiple hardware platforms, ensuring seamless integration of real-time operating systems, virtualization technologies, and graphics frameworks. You will collaborate closely with software developers, system architects, and hardware teams to identify issues early, improve product quality, and ensure timely delivery of robust embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities• Develop, execute, and maintain validation strategies for embedded software running on complex hardware platforms.
- Validate embedded applications built on FreeRTOS and SafeRTOS, ensuring functional correctness, stability, and real-time performance.
- Test and verify graphics and display subsystems, including rendering, display pipelines, UI responsiveness, and graphical performance.
- Validate virtualization environments using Xen Hypervisor, ensuring proper partitioning, isolation, and resource sharing.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, performance, stress, and system-level test cases.
- Analyze software defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Verify hardware-software integration across embedded platforms and peripherals.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and validation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure product quality.
- Support continuous integration, release validation, and production readiness activities.
- Prepare validation reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Validation or Embedded Systems Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with FreeRTOS and SafeRTOS validation.
- Expertise in validating Graphics and Display subsystems on embedded platforms.
- Experience working with Xen Hypervisor or virtualization technologies in embedded environments.
- Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, device drivers, boot sequences, and hardware-software interactions.
- Experience with embedded debugging tools, protocol analyzers, and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python or Shell for test automation.
- Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems and real-time operating environments.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, version control systems, and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
