At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Manager to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Define and review architectures for security systems.
  • Assess security configurations and settings across various types of IT applications and components.
  • Perform penetration tests and security assessments to evaluate the security posture of various types of systems and applications.
  • Support the deployment of vulnerability scanning systems across cloud and on-premises architectures.
  • Analyse identified vulnerabilities and propose appropriate patching and remediation solutions.
  • Administer and configure vulnerability scanning and vulnerability management tools.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports for system owners, middle management, and senior management.
  • Analyse logs, when required, and follow established support processes to identify and resolve bugs and technical issues affecting managed systems.
  • Contribute to presentations on the capabilities and functionalities of vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Provide technical support for the remediation of security vulnerabilities and other security issues.
  • Design and develop Python scripts to ensure connectivity and integration with other platforms and systems.
  • Assess the security aspects of products and solutions, including mobile and cloud-based solutions.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master's degree and at least six years of relevant professional experience, including:
  • At least three years of experience in cyber defence, including the deployment and operation of a Security Operations Centre (SOC), Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), security assessment platform, or technical security infrastructure (e.g. PKI, endpoint security).
  • At least two years of experience as a team leader or technical leader for major security-related projects.
  • At least one ICT security professional certification.
  • Experience of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and techniques for on-premises and cloud architectures.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and reporting systems, including process automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Previous experience in operating system security, including Linux and Windows.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps.
  • Programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience in conducting application penetration tests.
  • Knowledge of cyber attack techniques.
  • Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).
