Summary:
The Live Business Support Analyst is responsible for supporting Live Operations with data analytics, Live Operations accounting, and admin/grower communications. This role will review, analyze, and maintain reporting such as performance and cost, assist functional areas with daily and period end processes, and work with Live Software to help drive initiatives. The Live Business Support Analyst will provide support to Live Business Financial Team, Breeders, Broiler and Hatchery Administrators and help drive live initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions related to Live Operations, including, but not limited to cost reconciliations and inventory counts.
- Communicate and Collaborate with Vendors and Accounting team on discrepancies and issues relating to costs, invoices and reporting needs.
- Assist in Bird Weights and Farm Scheduling in conjunction with Live Haul, the Live and Plant Management Team.
- Assist Live Support team with completion of day-to-day tasks such as reconciliation of additional payments to growers, bird weights and reporting.
- Facilitate with management and end users in the Live Operation division to identify, track, and report on key performance indicators.
- Manage databases and reports related crop basis, grower performance, settlements and inventory.
- Manage compliance of producer contracts while ensuring timeliness of contract renewals.
- Act as a master user on Live Accounting software to support live team and requests for information and be able to troubleshoot issues if necessary.
- Help maintain and develop Live Accounting software by acting as the liaison between IT and the Live department for implementations and new data management tools.
Qualifications: The live operations business analyst has business analysis skills and experience in modeling business processes and has good documentation skills.
- Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of live operations in a poultry environment.
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Management skills – self-management, project management, listening, communication, scope management.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or at least 1 year of experience in the field.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and bend. The employee will be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee, at times, will work in a cold and or hot, wet, noisy environment and be required to travel to multiple sites.
