What are we looking for
- We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps & Test Automation Engineer with a passion for reliable platforms, systematic software testing and responsive customer support. You will help operate and improve our Test Automation Framework for quality assurance projects across Europe.
Your responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and improve the infrastructure that supports automated testing of mobile and fixed services
- Develop software, services and APIs for the test automation framework and automate manual workflows involving mobile devices, smartphones and IP phones.
- Design, document, review and maintain manual and automated test cases, test suites, test data and regression coverage.
- Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into traceable test scenarios; continuously update tests as products and interfaces evolve.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, investigate flaky or failed tests and manage defects through resolution.
- Monitor performance, availability and scalability; troubleshoot issues and implement proactive, secure solutions.
- Provide second-level customer and partner support: triage requests and incidents, reproduce problems, communicate status, document solutions and escalate when needed.
- Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles and user documentation; turn recurring support issues into automation and product improvements.
- Collaborate in an international Agile DevOps team and follow Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, security and PSA requirements.
· Oversee change management processes and system lifecycle activities, ensuring smooth transitions, version control, and minimal disruption during upgrades or deprecations.
· Participate in on-call rotation (for stand-by operations).
Requirements:
DevOps & Test Automation Engineer | 3–5 Years of Experience
Customer-oriented engineer combining backend and cloud operations expertise with test-case engineering, automation and structured technical support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, Test Automation or comparable engineering role.
- Strong scripting or development skills in Python, Bash, Go, Ruby or a comparable language.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI or FluxCD.
- Practical knowledge of test design techniques, requirements-to-test traceability, regression testing and ongoing test-case maintenance.
- Experience with automation and API testing tools or frameworks, for example pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium or Postman.
- Understanding of defect lifecycle management and issue tracking in tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containers and orchestration: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch or Datadog.
- Customer support experience, including incident triage, problem reproduction, log analysis, escalation and clear status communication.
- Ability to create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles and concise technical documentation for users and support teams.
- Solid understanding of security and privacy best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
- Strong communication skills, fluent English, an Agile/DevOps mindset and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is an advantage.
