About the Role

Our client is an established industrial manufacturer specializing in high-precision mechanical components and engineered production systems. The organization combines advanced machining, manufacturing engineering, and continuous-improvement practices to support complex industrial applications.

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary technical function spanning manufacturing engineering, design, CNC programming, and industrialization. The role combines team leadership, Lean manufacturing, production process optimization, machinery integration, CNC expertise, and technical project management.

CONTRACT: Permanent, full-time

LOCATIONS: On-site, Jura canton, Switzerland

PROCESS: Initial qualification followed by client interviews

Key Responsibilities• Lead multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering, design, and programming teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement of production processes and manufacturing methodologies.
  • Lead the industrialization of new products and integration of new production capabilities.
  • Coordinate technical activities across process engineering, applications, and production teams.
  • Implement and optimize Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Lead the selection, procurement, installation, and integration of new machinery and automated systems.
  • Design and improve production workflows and shop-floor layouts.
  • Oversee CNC programming and machining-process optimization.
  • Manage complex technical and industrial projects from planning through implementation.
  • Support long-term improvements in productivity, quality, precision, and manufacturing capacity.
  • At least 10 years of experience in industrial production or manufacturing engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical management role.
  • Strong practical experience implementing and improving Lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with the procurement and integration of machinery, automation, and specialized tooling.
  • Strong experience designing production workflows and manufacturing layouts.
  • Technical expertise in CNC programming.
  • Practical experience with lathes, milling machines, grinding, or comparable precision-machining equipment.
  • Fluent French and English.
