What You’ll Be Part Of 

As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of the growing Financial Capability Centre (FCC) responsible for providing financial support to the Automotive Division of Harman International globally. You will be focusing on supporting the R&D controlling related activities, supporting the SBU and Commercial Controllers and the accounting teams. You will also play a key role in supporting strong compliance and improvement processes. 

How You’ll Make An Impact 

  • Work on month end closing activities of CATS / WBS settlement, COPA settlement, processing intercompany invoicing 
  • Enabling global R&D controlling activities like creating a project WBS codes, adding budgets, maintain settlement rules, be the owner of the financial master data of Engineering projects  
  • Responsible for accruals for global projects 
  • Contract accounting  
  • Global R&D Project Reporting, Cost and reimbursements tracking, headcount / FTE reporting  
  • Global R&D Capex controlling (reporting and forecasting) 
  • Be Subject matter expert in SAP-PS module, Timesheet to SAP data transfer, COPA 
  • Support in SAP-S4-HANA transformation  
  • Support for cash forecast, Fx exposure reporting  
  • Enhance financial planning, reporting, and analytical processes related to revenue and expense management, driving greater efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight. 

What Makes You A Strong Fit 

  • A thorough understanding of basic financial controlling and reporting  
  • 3-6 years of experience in Automotive, Manufacturing or R&D setups or similar industries  
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial reporting, advance MS Excel, SAP 
  • Proficiency in English communication and dealing with multi country counterparts  
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Results-oriented approach 
  • Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills 

Bonus Points if You Have  

  • Experience in Engineering project controlling  
  • SAP -PS/FI/CO 
  • Experience of working with global cross functional teams
