General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager with strong automotive industry experience to drive commercialization and business growth of Qualcomm Automotive platforms, including Digital Cockpit (IVI), ADAS, Connectivity, and next-generation AI-enabled vehicle solutions.
The successful candidate should possess hands-on experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners, with deep involvement in vehicle program development, platform adoption, RFI/RFP activities, customer engagement, product positioning, competitive analysis, and go-to-market execution.
The role requires strong program management capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to influence customer technology decisions while aligning market requirements with Qualcomm's product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Drive automotive business opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1s, and ecosystem partners through market, customer, technology, and competitive analysis.
- Lead product commercialization, platform positioning, and design-win activities for Qualcomm Automotive solutions.
- Manage customer engagements throughout vehicle development cycles, including IVI and/or ADAS program planning, platform evaluations, and feature alignment.
- Lead or support RFI/RFP responses, business case development, and strategic customer pursuits.
- Drive PoC, reference platform, and customer programs through effective cross-functional program management.
- Translate customer and market feedback into recommendations for product roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and global teams to execute demand-generation and go-to-market strategies.
- Build strategic relationships with automotive OEM, Tier-1, software, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Deliver technical marketing activities, customer workshops, executive briefings, and industry presentations.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry insights to support business growth and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of experience in Automotive Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Program Management, or related fields.
- Strong experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or automotive semiconductor ecosystems.
- Proven experience in Digital Cockpit (IVI), ADAS, Connected Vehicle, Telematics, or Software-Defined Vehicle programs.
- Strong program management experience supporting customer product development and commercialization.
- Experience leading or supporting RFI/RFP preparation, customer proposals, and design-win activities.
- Established customer-facing experience with automotive OEMs and key ecosystem partners.
- Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
Plus
- Experience in AI, edge computing, or software platforms for automotive applications.
- Existing network across automotive OEMs, Tier-1s, and ecosystem partners.
- Notebook (NB) or PC industry experience is a strong plus, especially in platform commercialization, OEM engagement, and ecosystem development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
