The Associate Manager – SAP Project Management will spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex SAP initiatives within the SAP PM Competency – Delivery department. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement, meticulous resource and risk management, and a proven ability to meet scope, timeline, and budget objectives while driving continuous improvement across project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for SAP implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, allocating resources and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, status reporting, and issue escalation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies to safeguard delivery timelines.
- Monitor project performance against KPIs, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, governance frameworks, and Bristlecone quality standards.
- Facilitate requirement gathering, solution design reviews, and change management activities.
- Coordinate testing, cut‑over, and post‑go‑live support to achieve seamless transitions.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and maintain compliance with audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing full‑life‑cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Proven expertise in SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, PP) and SAP Activate methodology.
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets of INR 10+ crore and deliver projects on time.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Project Management is a plus.
- Experience in resource planning and vendor management within an IT services environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization and adapt to changing priorities.
