The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter, comfortable with autonomy, and capable of managing responsibilities in the field, with clients, and from a remote office.

This hybrid position involves a flexible allocation of responsibilities, approximately:

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, safety compliance, and adherence to all contract specifications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field-related issues to keep projects on schedule.
  • Assist in conducting on-site equipment assessments and forensic investigations, meticulously documenting field conditions and findings.

Business Development & Client Relations

  • Support senior leadership in building and maintaining relationships with clients (e.g., Building Owners, General Contractors, Architects, Insurance Adjusters, and Law Firms).
  • Assist in identifying new project opportunities and client leads.
  • Help prepare proposals, presentations, and qualification packages.
  • Represent the firm professionally in client meetings and, as needed, at industry events.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, in Construction Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil), or a related technical field is preferred. Previous elevator industry related roles will also be considered.
  • Exceptional self-discipline and organizational skills to work effectively in a hybrid-remote environment (50% remote).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to confidently and professionally interact with clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • A hands-on, proactive problem-solver with a strong desire to learn the technical details of the vertical transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • 5-8 years of experience or internship in construction, engineering, or a related field.
