Overview
This is a newly scoped role sitting within the Talent team reporting directly to the Global Chief Talent Officer. This role combines coordination, supports across core HR/People analytics and a trusted extension of the Talent function (TA and HR), owning the leadership rhythm, cross-functional initiatives and outward-facing materials, alongside a strong analytical backbone.
The role provides senior coordination support to the Global Chief Talent Officer; representing their priorities and updates in meetings they are unable to attend and owning cross-functional initiatives end to end. This is focused on substantive project and reporting support, with particular emphasis on high-quality powerpoint decks and materials produced with real attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and interpret Talent reporting, dashboards and key people analytics to give the Global Chief Talent Officer and leadership clear visibility of trends, risks and priorities across the function.
- Support workforce planning, benchmarking, OKR tracking and annual Talent cycles by preparing timely insights, updates and materials for leadership and ExCo.
- Create high-quality, ExCo-ready decks, briefing packs, reports, agendas and other outward-facing materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency and a strong standard of presentation.
- Own and drive cross-functional Talent initiatives on behalf of the Global Chief Talent Officer, from initial framing through to delivery, keeping workstreams aligned and progressing against agreed outcomes.
- Represent the Global Chief Talent Officer’s priorities in meetings and forums they are unable to attend, providing clear updates, capturing decisions and escalating risks, dependencies or issues where needed.
- Manage the operating rhythm of the Talent leadership team, including setting agendas, preparing inputs, tracking actions between meetings and ensuring follow-through across key priorities.
- Help prioritise the Global Chief Talent Officer’s time by identifying what requires their attention, what can be progressed on their behalf and where decisions or intervention are needed.
- Coordinate closely with Global TA, Talent Partner leads and other Talent functions to align timelines, inputs and materials, identifying gaps, overlaps or dependencies across workstreams.
- Plan and coordinate Talent team off-sites and key leadership sessions, including logistics, agendas, materials and follow-up actions.
- Draft team updates and communications relating to Talent initiatives, translating complex or evolving priorities into clear messages for review before wider distribution.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in a fast-paced or senior support environment
- A proactive, can-do attitude, happy to get stuck in wherever needed
- Highly responsive, comfortable with quick turnarounds and shifting priorities
- Confident with data and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI, comfortable handling large datasets
- Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable preparing materials for senior stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail; this is a non-negotiable given the seniority of the materials produced
- Confident PowerPoint skills and a strong eye for clear, well-structured slide design, equally comfortable building decks from scratch and refining them
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills, able to manage multiple work-streams at once
- Comfortable working closely across a small team, building trust and credibility quickly
- Handles highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Strong stakeholder judgement, able to represent a senior leader's priorities accurately and with discretion
- Able to synthesise competing or ambiguous priorities into a clear, actionable plan
