Senior Analyst – Client Solutions Product Finance

Join a high-performing finance team supporting Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M), delivering financial insight, control, and strategic decision support to the Lending and Leasing businesses. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful analysis, influence decision-making, and help drive business performance across complex institutional financing solutions.

Client Solutions Product Finance is responsible for providing financial and non-financial reporting, commercial insights, operational support, and a strong financial control framework for the Lending and Leasing businesses.

Working closely with business leaders, deal teams, and finance colleagues, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, performance transparency, and strategic support across the portfolio.

Your impact

You will:

  • Monitor intra-month business performance and provide proactive P&L analysis and insights.
  • Deliver accurate financial and management reporting, month-end activities, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Deliver Board reporting, Group consolidation packs and statutory reporting to support month-end, half-year and year-end reporting.
  • Provide commercial analysis and performance insights to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Lending, Leasing, and Finance to deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Support statutory, regulatory, and group reporting requirements.
  • Drive financial control excellence while identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Be a trusted finance partner, helping the business navigate performance, risk, and growth opportunities.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Experience in financial control, management reporting, or business partnering within a complex environment.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, including AIFRS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Commercial acumen and experience supporting stakeholder decision-making.
  • Experience in financial modelling and financial statement preparation.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for driving efficiencies.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Financial Services experience, particularly within lending, banking, or institutional finance, will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
