Position Overview: Senior Data Scientist (Healthcare Focus)
What You Will Do:
- Lead the development of advanced machine learning (ML) and statistical models to solve complex healthcare problems.
- Establish and promote best practices in modeling, experimentation, and analytical rigor.
- Convert real-world healthcare challenges into scalable data science solutions.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to influence product and business strategy.
- Mentor and enhance the technical capabilities of the data science team.
- Keep up to date with the latest advances in ML and healthcare analytics.
Who We Are Looking For:
*Mandatory skill sets
- 8+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
- Solid grounding in statistical modeling, machine learning, and complex problem-solving techniques.
- Proven experience handling large, high-dimensional datasets and delivering clear, actionable insights.
- Expertise with modern ML methods, including:
- Transformers (e.g., NLP and representation learning)
- Deep learning frameworks and architectures
- Graph-based machine learning (such as Graph Neural Networks)
- Familiarity with causal inference and decision-focused modeling is a plus.
- Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems and pursuing impactful outcomes independently.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for engaging with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience deploying models into production environments.
- Prior experience or domain knowledge in healthcare, particularly healthcare revenue cycle, is preferred.
