Project Role : Data Migration Engineer Project Role Description : Execute data migration by extracting, transforming, and loading data into the target system according to defined rules. Build, run, and validate migration scripts and processes to ensure data quality and consistency. Summary: As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the end-to-end process of transferring data from source systems to the target environment. This includes carefully executing data extraction, transformation, and loading activities while adhering to established guidelines. The role requires continuous monitoring and validation of migration workflows to maintain data integrity and consistency. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate migration schedules and troubleshoot any issues that arise is also a key part of daily responsibilities, ensuring smooth and accurate data migration operations.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives. - Document migration processes and maintain clear records of data transformations and validations. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration tasks. - Continuously monitor migration performance and suggest improvements to optimize workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Experience in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Strong knowledge of data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data. - Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to build and run migration scripts efficiently. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues promptly. - Understanding of data governance and security best practices within data migration projects.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location. - A 15 years full time education is required.
