Overview
This role will have responsibility for supporting business analytics as well as redesigning and automating various processes, systems, and reporting across GTB. The role will be deployed to various internal GTB projects as needed to provide business analytics, redesign, and project support.
Mashreq supports a wide range of Transaction Banking products and services including Cash Management (account services, payments, collections, and liquidity management), Documentary Trade (letters of credit, bank guarantees, trade loans), and Open Account Trade (receivables finance, supplier finance) plus various ancillary services in 10+ Markets (UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, India, US, Hong Kong, United Kingdom).
As GTB grows its geographic footprint and product range whilst moving to a ‘digital first’ business model with strong client experience orientation, there is need to drive insights through improved analytics and to ensure processes are fit for purpose in the digital age.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will provide value added analytical insights and deliver on process improvements by:
- Completing bespoke analysis of various aspects of GTB’s business and operational performance
- Automating business reporting and MIS across multiple operational dimensions
- Providing general assistance and project management support for ad hoc projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3-5 years in an analytical role, ideally in an environment directly exposed to the GTB business
- Strong understanding of data analysis, tools, and process redesign
- Very good communication and presentation skills
