PL Desenvolvimento Full Stack (Java & React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PL Desenvolvimento Full Stack (Java & React) based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to build and evolve modern web applications across the backend and frontend. You’ll work throughout the development lifecycle, from designing and implementing new features to testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The role combines Java and the Spring ecosystem with React and TypeScript to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. You’ll also work with REST APIs, automated testing, version control, and modern development practices. Collaboration is central, with close interaction across multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment. You’ll have opportunities to contribute to technical decisions, code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on development, shared ownership, and solving meaningful technical challenges.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

• Build modern, responsive frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Develop and consume REST APIs and contribute to reliable integrations between systems.

• Participate in the definition and implementation of technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Write and maintain unit tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Perform bug fixes, system maintenance, technical improvements, and evolutionary development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment to deliver complete product solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to engineering standards, clean code, and development best practices.

• Contribute to scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance applications.

• Where relevant, support initiatives involving microservices, CI/CD, containers, and other modern engineering practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Full Stack development, with the ability to work confidently across backend and frontend technologies.

• Strong practical knowledge of Java 8 or later; experience with Java 17 and/or Java 21 is considered an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Professional experience developing interfaces with React and TypeScript.

• Experience with NestJS and modern backend development using TypeScript.

• Experience designing, building, consuming, and integrating REST APIs.

• Practical experience with automated unit testing, particularly JUnit, Mockito, and Jest.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable.

• Experience with Docker, containers, or virtualization technologies is an advantage.

• A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
