Job DetailsJob Location: Overland Park, KS 66202Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $73,000.00 Salary/yearPosition Summary The Technical Systems & Solutions Engineer serves as Minds Matter's primary technical resource, responsible for managing organizational technology infrastructure, supporting hardware and software systems, participating in platform implementation projects, and contributing to the development and integration of technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. This position bridges operations and technology by ensuring staff have the tools they need to succeed while also supporting strategic initiatives including systems integrations, workflow automation, data solutions, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and software development partnerships. The Technical Systems & Solutions Engineer will work closely with operational leadership, vendors, and development partners to support both current technology needs and future innovation efforts. Reports To Vice President of Operations Supervises None initially Essential Responsibilities Technology Infrastructure & Hardware Management Manage organizational technology inventory including laptops, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals, and related equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking. Coordinate device procurement, setup, deployment, replacement, and recovery. Ensure technology equipment is configured according to company standards. Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and coordinate vendor repairs when needed. Support office technology including conference room equipment, printers, networking devices, and related systems. Technology Platform Administration & Support Serve as a primary administrator and support resource for organizational technology platforms. Monitor system functionality and user access across software platforms. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings. Coordinate platform upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution. Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees. Liaise with software vendors to resolve technical issues and advocate for organizational needs. Systems Implementation & Project Management Participate in the evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of technology platforms. Assist with project planning, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems and enhancements. Document business requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions. Support data migration, system configuration, and workflow design activities. Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements. Systems Integration & Automation Support integrations between internal and external technology platforms. Develop and maintain automated workflows where appropriate. Assist in data mapping, system connectivity, and API-related projects. Monitor integrations for errors and performance issues. Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation. Development & Technical Innovation Support software development initiatives and strategic technology projects. Collaborate with external developers and technology partners on solution design and testing. Maintain a working understanding of software architecture, scripting, databases, APIs, and integration methodologies. Participate in the development and refinement of operational technology solutions, including the IMPACT Billing platform. Assist with technical research, proof-of-concept testing, and solution evaluation. Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies Evaluate and support AI tools and technologies that improve efficiency and service delivery. Assist in implementing AI-driven workflows and automation solutions. Support prompt development, workflow integration, and governance of AI tools. Monitor emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for organizational adoption. Partner with leadership to identify practical uses of AI across operations and service delivery. Data & Reporting Support Support organizational reporting and analytics initiatives. Assist with data extraction, validation, and quality monitoring. Collaborate with leadership on dashboard and reporting requirements. Help ensure data integrity across technology platforms. QualificationsQualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3+ years of experience supporting business technology systems, software platforms, or technical operations. Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user support issues. Experience participating in software implementation or technology projects. Working knowledge of system integrations, APIs, databases, and automation concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred
Experience supporting healthcare, rehabilitation, or human services organizations. Experience with software development methodologies and product implementation. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar. Experience with AI tools, workflow automation, and process improvement initiatives. Experience with cloud-based platforms, Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar environments. Experience participating in software testing, QA, or product development projects.
