Requirements

About this Position

What you´ll do

  • Act as the central engineering contact for global innovation projects and serve as the primary interface between Global Engineering and the Global Innovation organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility, scalability, and industrial requirements during all innovation phases.
  • Partner closely with Global R&D to assess emerging technologies, support industrialization activities, and ensure successful technology transfer into manufacturing
  • Coordinate with Global Engineering Centers of Excellence and Regional Engineering teams to align engineering strategies and provide a unified technical perspective
  • Drive the integration of core Manufacturing Technology Platforms (cMTP) into innovation projects to ensure efficient, standardized, and scalable manufacturing solutions
  • Identify industrialization risks early in the development process and define mitigation strategies from proof of principle through scale-up
  • Foster collaboration across Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, and regional organizations to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and network readiness
  • Support structured project execution by applying stage-gate methodologies and promoting the reuse of proven technologies across regions and product categories

What makes you a good fit

  • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • More than 5 years of experience in engineering, industrialization, manufacturing, or innovation within an FMCG or comparable production environment
  • Proven hands-on experience leading industrial CAPEX projects of €3M+ related to new product introductions, including specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and start-up of manufacturing equipment
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, ideally in liquids and/or solids production, as well as technology scale-up and new product introduction
  • Experience working in international, cross-functional matrix organizations with solid project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Business fluent English, willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%), and the ability to influence stakeholders through a structured, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach
