Description:
To plan, organise, control and coordinate IT projects within the group. Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects aligned with company strategy. Ensure that timelines and budgetary constraints are met.
Requirement:
- NQF 4 with minimum 5 years relevant experience in similar position
- Project Management qualification
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)
- Project environment knowledge

Key Performance Area
Create, Plan, and Implement projects
Responsible for the management of a project methodology incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation and reporting
Manages processes supporting the Project Steering Committee, streamlining communications between project team members and project sponsors
Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
Maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a Project Management Officer (PMO)
Assist and advise Project Sponsors to the best use of project management disciplines and approaches
Assist with establishing PMO stakeholder management plan and implementation of the communication framework
Manage resource allocation for effective project delivery
Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information
Plan projects schedules, resource allocation, durations
Assist sponsors to define scope, quality and deliverable requirements
Lead project teams
Ensure that all projects meet scope, time, quality and cost goals
Implement and manage change when necessary
Evaluate and assess result of project
Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards per project
Reports
Present project progress reports to stakeholders, as well as problems and solutions
Identification and resolution of issues
Build risk and lessons learned register per project
Define corrective/ mitigating actions based on risk register, with project teams
Drive all corrective/ mitigating actions to completion
Project governance
Define and review project planning and implementation of processes at least annually.
Ensure familiar with Cashbuild project management processes
Budget
Review budgets / periodic forecasts and control project expenses
Adhere to project budgets
Customer Service
Ensure that customer requirements for each project constraints (time, scope, budget, quality) are met to the requirements of the scope document
Develop positive relationships with Project Sponsors and teams to enable the PMO to provide support including facilitation tracking and reporting on projects
Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a comprehensive and prioritized view of all projects
