About the role
The QA Automation Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing frameworks while ensuring the overall quality of enterprise applications. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines strong automation expertise with analytical thinking and a consulting mindset to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient quality assurance solutions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation test frameworks.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, and API test cases.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, report, and track defects through to resolution.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and quality processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit, API testing (Postman/REST Assured), and Git.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools like Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
