This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Product Owner, Enterprise Systems based in United States.

As a Salesforce Product Owner, Enterprise Systems, you will own the vision, roadmap, and business value of a critical enterprise CRM platform. You will translate organizational priorities and workflow needs into a clear, governed product strategy that supports commercial and client-focused operations. The role combines product ownership, business process optimization, platform governance, data stewardship, and technology-enabled transformation. You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, data owners, vendors, and implementation partners to prioritize investments and deliver measurable outcomes. A key focus will be strengthening platform stability, adoption, workflow effectiveness, support continuity, and transparency before introducing significant new capabilities. You will also identify opportunities to leverage automation and responsible AI to improve productivity, decision-making, data quality, and user experiences. This is an influential cross-functional role for a strategic product leader who can balance enterprise standards with business-unit needs while driving sustainable technology adoption.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, backlog, and prioritization process, ensuring platform investments support enterprise workflows and measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner with workflow owners, business leaders, and functional teams to align Salesforce capabilities with business objectives and evolving operational requirements.
  • Prioritize enhancements, defects, automation opportunities, integrations, and technical debt according to business value, workflow impact, adoption requirements, and operational risk.
  • Establish transparent governance and prioritization practices that balance enterprise standards with business-unit and agency-specific requirements.
  • Lead roadmap planning, release prioritization, requirements gathering, business process analysis, testing, business readiness, training coordination, and user enablement.
  • Facilitate governance discussions involving business stakeholders, platform owners, data owners, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Partner with platform and vendor teams to evaluate capabilities and ensure technology investments align with strategic priorities.
  • Maintain visibility into platform risks, support capacity, backlog health, adoption challenges, and operational performance, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, automate, and improve processes while preserving necessary flexibility.
  • Coordinate approved workflow automation, integration, and platform improvement initiatives with technical delivery teams.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions align with enterprise architecture, data governance, security, privacy, and interoperability standards.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide visibility into adoption, workflow performance, data quality, operational health, and business value.
  • Define adoption and utilization measures and work with business leaders to improve user engagement, process compliance, and platform effectiveness.
  • Coordinate training, communications, and change enablement initiatives to support successful adoption of Salesforce-enabled workflows.
  • Measure and communicate the business value generated by Salesforce investments, workflow improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Partner with enterprise data owners and stewards to maintain data quality, consistency, shared definitions, governance standards, and appropriate controls.
  • Ensure Salesforce data can effectively support enterprise workflows, reporting, analytics, and approved AI initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to use responsible AI and automation to improve workflows, decision-making, and user productivity.
  • Ensure AI-enabled solutions follow appropriate governance, security, privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance requirements, with human review of generated outputs when necessary.
  • Collaborate across business, technology, data, operations, finance, people, and agency teams to ensure the platform continues to support evolving enterprise needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships across business units, corporate functions, vendors, and implementation partners while balancing local requirements with enterprise consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Systems Leadership, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Enterprise Platforms, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience owning a product roadmap, managing a prioritized backlog, and aligning technology investments with measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing business workflows across multiple functions, stakeholders, systems, and data domains.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to define requirements, prioritize investments, and drive adoption of technology-enabled processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, implementation partners, and senior leadership.
  • Experience establishing governance models, prioritization frameworks, performance metrics, and value realization measures for enterprise platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or a comparable enterprise CRM platform.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, workflow automation, integrations, and enterprise data management practices.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management, user adoption, training, and business readiness initiatives.
  • Strong ability to translate enterprise priorities and business objectives into a clear product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to define meaningful metrics and assess business value realization.
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead governance discussions across technical and business audiences.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify root causes and navigate complex business and technology challenges.
  • Ability to balance enterprise standards with business-unit requirements and make thoughtful prioritization decisions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across internal teams, business units, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Experience with marketing automation, customer engagement, or commercial operations platforms is a plus.
  • Salesforce, Product Owner, or comparable platform certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience working within a federated organization and balancing enterprise consistency with business-unit autonomy is preferred.
