Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager will provide project management, operational, and administrative support to a Department of Defense organization. The position supports government leadership in coordinating projects and organizational initiatives, tracking requirements and deliverables, developing documentation and communications, and improving business processes.
The Project Manager works with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure activities are effectively planned, coordinated, documented, and completed in accordance with organizational requirements.
This position is fully remote.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide project and program management support for government initiatives and operational requirements.
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, deliverables, action items, and stakeholder requirements.
- Track project status, milestones, risks, issues, and outstanding actions.
- Coordinate meetings, working groups, leadership engagements, and other program activities.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, talking points, correspondence, and other management documentation.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, processes, and program documentation.
- Coordinate with government, military, civilian, and contractor stakeholders to support project execution.
- Maintain project files, documentation repositories, trackers, and other program-management resources.
- Support records, information, and data-management activities in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support implementation of new processes, technologies, and organizational initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 and other collaboration tools to support project coordination, documentation, reporting, and workflow management.
- Assist leadership with special projects, research, analysis, and time-sensitive requirements.
- Handle sensitive and classified information in accordance with applicable security requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience supporting project management, program operations, business operations, or related activities.
- Experience coordinating projects, stakeholders, requirements, and deliverables.
- Ability to develop professional reports, presentations, briefings, procedures, and other written materials.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with government and contractor personnel.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government programs.
- Experience supporting senior government or military leadership.
- Experience with process improvement, change management, or organizational initiatives.
- Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, or similar collaboration tools.
- Experience developing policies, SOPs, workflows, or governance documentation.
- Experience with records management, information management, or data governance.
- Project management, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile, change management, or related professional certifications are preferred.
