Your mission

As a Commissioning and Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating the successful commissioning of IONITY charging sites and the delivery of operational implementation projects. You ensure that activities are clearly planned, progress is transparently tracked, and risks and blockers are resolved efficiently. Acting as a project manager within Network Operations, you coordinate internal teams, external service partners, and other relevant stakeholder  to perform relevant projects related to compliance, quality improvements etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate commissioning activities for charging sites
  • Ensure Field Service Engineers receive timely technical and operational support
  • Monitor commissioning progress, identify risks and blockers, and drive timely resolution
  • Provide technical support on complex commissioning topics, including the review of electrical drawings and documentation
  • Support the verification of electrical installations and the configuration and settings of low-voltage components
  • Coordinate closely with Rollout Managers to ensure complete and documented handovers from Network Development to Network Operations
  • Maintain accurate commissioning tickets, project documentation, and status updates. Share commissioning-related information consistently with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and open actions
  • Lead implementation projects, coordinating planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up activities
  • Lead and participate in strategic projects, representing the operational needs of Network Operations
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and process improvements to support knowledge sharing

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a comparable field
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with electrical installations and low-voltage components, including their configuration and settings, is a Plus
  • Several years of experience in project management, commissioning, technical operations, infrastructure, or a similar environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience coordinating internal teams, external service providers, and diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive issues through to resolution
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to ticketing, documentation, and reporting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical and operational topics clearly
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Interest in electric mobility, charging infrastructure, and new technologies
  • Very strong communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel when required
