Intetics Inc., a global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Improvement of the CI/CD process, implementation of CI pipelines, and management of CD tools.
  • Implementation and enhancement of monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Design, deployment, and maintenance of highly available systems.
  • Development of tools to reduce errors and improve the user experience.
  • Development of troubleshooting and system maintenance procedures.
  • Performance of job duties and execution of verbal and written instructions from management.
  • Completion of assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures, policies, and guidelines.
  • Maintenance of the confidentiality of company data.
  • Linux systems based on RHEL; basic Bash scripting skills;
  • Proxies, load balancers, and web servers: HAProxy, Nginx, Ingress, MetalLB;
  • High-availability solutions: Keepalived;
  • NoSQL databases: ETCD, Redis + Sentinel;
  • Message brokers and distributed event/stream processing systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ;
  • Configuration management tools: Ansible (preferred);
  • Version control systems: Git, GitLab;
  • Docker containerization: Docker containers, Dockerfile, Docker Compose, Docker networking, images, and image layers;
  • Container Runtime Interface (CRI): Docker, containerd;
  • Container Networking Interface (CNI): Weave Net, Flannel, Calico;
  • Container Storage Interface (CSI): GlusterFS, Ceph (preferred);
  • Container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes;
  • Backup tools: Velero, Restic, Kopia (preferred);
  • Helm charts and Helm operators;
  • Container image and artifact registries: GitLab Registry, Docker Registry, Nexus;
  • CI tools: GitLab CI;
  • CD tools (e.g., GitLab + Helm Operator + FluxCD);
  • Monitoring systems: Prometheus + Grafana, Zabbix (preferred);
  • Logging systems: ELK/EFK;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software;
  • Knowledge of any other tools and applications relevant to the job responsibilities;
  • Readiness to work from office in Baku.
