Job Title: Java Developer (Spring Boot & AI Applications)

Location: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX (Onsite - No Remote Option)

Employment type: Contract

Overview: Seeking a Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and AI-enabled application development. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable microservices, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and developing enterprise applications. Financial services or banking domain experience is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Java development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring

Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.

  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle,

PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or

GCP).

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

pipelines.

  • Experience integrating AI technologies such as

OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases, or similar AI frameworks.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing AI-powered applications,

chatbots, intelligent automation, or predictive analytics solutions.

  • Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, Payments,

or Capital Markets experience.

  • Knowledge of Kafka, Python, and modern

cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support Java Spring Boot

applications and microservices.

  • Build and integrate AI/Generative AI solutions

into enterprise applications.

  • Develop and consume REST APIs and cloud-based

services.

  • Collaborate with business, AI, and engineering

teams to deliver scalable solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing,

deployment, and production support.
