Position Summary

Responsible for the layout, design and production activities to produce quality graphic and presentation design. Requires working knowledge of presentation and graphic design software. Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic design and layout for printed training material, online / digital training courses, and videos to be used through a variety of training platforms such as classroom training, webinars, virtual training and various websites. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless programs. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. This position will support the instructional designers and/or subject matter experts from sales, technical services and marketing to finalize training programs.

Position Responsibilities

May include:

· Work closely with Instructional Designers to develop training materials across a variety of products and their lifecycles. Training materials include, but are not limited to: instructor guides, participant guides, job aids/tools, classroom PowerPoint presentations, training assessments, online courses, videos, and a variety of on-screen graphics.

· Apply creative layout solutions to training materials and presentation slides.

· Re-creation, or re-interpretation, of various diagrams, or frameworks used in the development of training materials.

· Effectively manages assigned projects within specified timelines and with minimal supervision

· Ensure materials developed by the Instructional Design (ID) team aligns to ID and overall brand standards.

· Evaluate and escalate risks in projects/products to supervisor and senior management when appropriate.

· Develop, design and production of print and electronic promotional materials; interaction with internal contacts for information gathering and project approvals; speed, accuracy, and high-output are required attributes for this position.  

· Create and design support materials in various publishing media formats

· Present varied media design concepts effectively to internal stakeholders. 

· Coordinate assigned projects with internal customers. Must enjoy face to face interaction and be able to consistently follow up on details with stakeholders to bring projects to completion. 

· Work with clients and team members to effectively meet their needs and deadlines. 

· Collaborate with Technical Services, and product marketing teammates to support graphic content development

· Perform additional graphic services as assigned by Manager

· Strategically produce high-impact product 

· Provide ideas and solutions while creating logos, illustrations, photo manipulation/correction 

  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Knowledge & Skills

· Advanced knowledge of graphic art standards, proofreading and Adobe Creative Suite program proficiency (inDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) 

· Advanced graphic design skills. 

· Broad knowledge of graphic art standards and equipment. 

· Advanced understanding and application of Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, and PowerPoint.  

· Exceptional communication, collaboration and presentation skills. 

· Attention to detail and accuracy 

· Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and remain on deadline.  

· Ability to work within cross- functional teams and ability to establish positive work relationship 

· Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment with distractions in an open concept setting

· Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.

Experience

· 4-7 year's experience in Graphic Design

Education/Certification

· Associates or Bachelors degree in any of the following Graphic Design; Interactive Media, Design or Technical Graphics
