Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help protect our organization’s critical systems and data. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical foundation and a passion for proactive security measures and a passion for continuous learning.

 

Responsibilities:

May include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Act as the primary escalation point for security incidents originating from the Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Perform regular audits of systems and security controls to ensure compliance
  • Maintain and update security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
  • Document findings, incident reports, and compliance metrics for internal and external audits.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach to security challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with NEXT-Gen SIEM solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and implementation strategies.
  • Exposure to threat intelligence platforms and incident response workflows
