Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help protect our organization’s critical systems and data. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical foundation and a passion for proactive security measures and a passion for continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following
- Act as the primary escalation point for security incidents originating from the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
- Perform regular audits of systems and security controls to ensure compliance
- Maintain and update security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
- Document findings, incident reports, and compliance metrics for internal and external audits.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and proactive approach to security challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with NEXT-Gen SIEM solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and implementation strategies.
- Exposure to threat intelligence platforms and incident response workflows
