As a Mobile DevOps Technical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how our mobile applications are built, tested, and delivered to users around the world. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll spend most of your time designing, building, and optimizing mobile CI/CD pipelines while providing technical guidance to a small team of engineers. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers delivering Clario's mobile DevOps roadmap while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day engineering work.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting Android or iOS mobile applications, including build, test, signing, and release automation.
- Own the end-to-end mobile application delivery process, including release automation, code signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, and deployment to the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Improve pipeline reliability, security, monitoring, and developer productivity by implementing automation, quality gates, secrets management, and continuous improvements.
- Partner with Mobile Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to continuously improve release processes, resolve complex deployment challenges, and establish engineering best practices.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Release Engineering, or Platform Engineering with significant hands-on experience supporting mobile application delivery.
- Demonstrated experience owning production CI/CD pipelines for Android or iOS applications through to App Store or Google Play releases.
- Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar, including pipeline automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing mobile signing infrastructure, including certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, secrets management, and release automation.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation.
- Experience working with Docker and containerized build environments.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive delivery while remaining hands-on.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering, QA, security, and product teams.
- Ability to work remotely from Costa Rica with regular collaboration across global teams and time zones.
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, cloud-native platforms, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GKE; familiarity with the C#/.NET MAUI ecosystem, LaunchDarkly, or AI-assisted developer tooling.
