PRODUCT MANAGER

HANDTEVY MOBILE APP-CLINICAL INTELLIGENCE

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a detail-oriented product professional who thrives in agile environments and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver real solutions? Handtevy is a fast-growing healthcare technology company revolutionizing emergency care nationally and internationally - a mobile app that gives Emergency Medical Services (EMS) instant, accurate guidance in high-stakes situations. Our product team is seeking a Product Manager to help shape the future of clinical intelligence features within the Handtevy app, partnering closely with engineering, design, research, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions for organizations of all sizes.

This role is ideal for a product manager who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, enjoys solving complex customer problems, and can balance strategic thinking with strong execution. You'll own key clinical intelligence capabilities from discovery through delivery, using customer insights, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable business and user outcomes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Product Manager role that also carries full Product Owner execution responsibility. In addition to shaping strategy, you are directly responsible for owning and creating epics and writing the user stories and acceptance criteria that drive delivery - not just setting direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain epics that translate strategic initiatives into structured, sequenced bodies of work for engineering.
  • Write clear, testable user stories and detailed acceptance criteria - supported by agile artifacts such as wireframes and workflows - that guide the development team through implementation and QA.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Clinical, Sales, Customer Success, engineering, architecture, research, and design to gather business needs, align priorities, and build, test, and deliver new features within the Handtevy app.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, grounding backlog decisions in user research, feedback, and data analysis to ensure features deliver real value.
  • Align functionality to business goals with measurable business impact.
  • Balance imaginative problem-solving with ruthless prioritization - you're comfortable saying no when it protects focus on the highest-impact work.
  • Own day-to-day backlog execution - grooming, refinement, and full participation in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives) - while managing competing priorities with consistency and transparency.
  • Review and prioritize issues, partnering with engineering to determine resolution timing and sprint placement.
  • Validate delivered work, accepting or rejecting increments based on defined acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in discovery, pilots, and beta programs, incorporating feedback into rapid iteration cycles.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a product management or product owner capacity at a technology-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and road mapping software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in SaaS technology.
  • Experience in healthcare as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • A track record of shaping product strategy through a roadmap in tight collaboration with engineering.
  • Experience with AI technology - exploring available approaches and applying them to solve a problem, personally or professionally.
