Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with 4–5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend development, with experience in building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and developing high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Integrate applications with relational databases and optimize SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
  • Understanding of JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
