About the team

Hi! We are looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end product quality—ranging from intuitive web interfaces and client-side logic to robust backend APIs and microservices.

This role is perfect for someone with a systematic mindset who deeply understands modern web applications, client-server architecture, and wants to directly influence product stability, performance, and user experience for millions of traders around the world.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Testing: Conduct thorough functional, UI/UX, API, and integration testing across frontend applications and backend microservices.
  • Test Automation: Develop, scale, and maintain automated test suites (Python using Pytest/Playwright/Selenium) for web interfaces and API layers, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cross-Layer Validation: Verify data integrity across client-side state, database levels, business logic, and inter-service communications (REST, WebSocket).
  • Defect & Log Analysis: Reproduce complex bugs, perform root-cause analysis using browser DevTools, Unix environments, and system logs, and write detailed bug reports.
  • Non-Functional Testing: Participate in cross-browser/responsive UI testing, as well as basic load, stress, and system stability analysis.
  • QA Operations & Process: Analyze technical documentation, design test plans/scenarios, participate in release planning, and continuously improve QA processes alongside Developers and DevOps engineers.

What makes you the perfect fit

  • 6+ years of QA experience, with strong proficiency in both UI/Frontend and API/Backend testing.
  • System Architecture: Solid understanding of client-server architecture, web frontend principles, microservices, and HTTP/WebSocket protocols.
  • Tooling Expertise: Proficiency with API and DevTools (Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, Browser DevTools).
  • Automation Mastery: Practical experience writing automated tests in Python (Pytest framework) for UI (Playwright or Selenium) and APIs.
  • Environment & CI/CD: Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments (bash scripting, log analysis) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent test design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a track record of ensuring deep coverage for complex systems.
  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional communication skills, agile mindset, and ability to advocate for quality across teams.

Will be a plus

  • Experience in finance or trading domain
  • Familiarity with TradingView as a product
  • Advanced Testing: Hands-on experience with load/performance testing, security testing, or monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Sentry).
  • Infrastructure: Experience working with Docker or Kubernetes (k8s).
  • Tooling & TMS: Familiarity with Test Management Systems (TestRail, Allure).
  • Frontend Tech: Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS for deeper debugging.
