Job DetailsPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00Job Category: Precision OncologyWe are seeking a Medical QA Analyst (Oncology) with Software Engineer in Test (SEIT) experience to support the quality, accuracy, and compliance of oncology-focused healthcare applications.

This role combines oncology domain knowledge with hands-on software quality assurance. The ideal candidate understands oncology workflows, medication management, clinical documentation, and patient care processes and can translate that knowledge into effective software testing strategies.

You will work with Product, Medical SMEs, Business Analysts, Engineering, and QA teams to translate requirements into test scenarios, identify defects, validate functionality, and help deliver safe, reliable healthcare technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

Medical & Oncology Quality Validation

Validate oncology workflows, including treatment plans, medication management, and patient care documentation. Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for medical and operational accuracy. Partner with medical experts and stakeholders to validate functionality and workflow design. Ensure solutions align with oncology best practices and real-world healthcare operations.

Software Quality Assurance & Testing

Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution. Support release validation, production readiness, and Agile development activities. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to support quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Compliance & Risk Management

Support validation activities in regulated healthcare environments. Maintain testing documentation for audits and compliance reviews. Participate in risk assessments and quality reviews. Support adherence to HIPAA, FDA, GxP, and applicable healthcare quality standards.

QualificationsQualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Nursing (BSN), Health Sciences, or related healthcare discipline.

3+ years of experience in:

Medical or healthcare software QA/testing Healthcare technology, clinical informatics, software validation, or healthcare application support

Experience with software testing and business requirement validation. Understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies. Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect documentation. Experience using QA and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. Oncology care pathways, treatment workflows, and medication protocols. Clinical documentation, patient management, healthcare regulations, and patient safety principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct oncology nursing, pharmacy, or oncology operations experience. Experience testing healthcare, life sciences, EMR/EHR, or clinical software applications. Experience with SQL, API testing, data validation, HL7, or FHIR. Experience with regulated healthcare software environments or ISTQB certification
