THE OPPORTUNITY

NavVis' Indoor Mobile Mapping Technology captures and processes spatial data at scale. In this role, you develop new features for the software and firmware behind this technology as part of the Embedded Software Team. You strengthen your programming skills and your knowledge of Linux systems while working closely with hardware developers.

The Embedded Software Team is part of the multidisciplinary Design and Engineering Department, which includes designers and mechanical, production, and quality engineers building NavVis' next generation of solutions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Develop new tools and firmware for NavVis' Indoor Mobile Mapping Technology using Python and C/C++

• Write unit tests and maintain the existing codebase to support long-term product reliability

• Analyze data and conduct research to support ongoing project development

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• In-progress studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar field

• Hands-on experience with Python or C/C++

• Experience writing unit tests

• Hands-on experience with Git

• Familiarity with the Linux environment
