JOB PURPOSE

The analyst is part of the Global FP&A team. This position will have a strong focus on the Retail channel and will be responsible for the preparation of the reports in order to monitor the Brand performances, the financial forecast/budget for the company and the profitability analysis by Region and Channel. The controller will support senior management, providing both strategic insights and in-depth analysis by working cross functionally across divisions/regions.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Preparing management reports and KPIs, providing analysis of the key areas
  • Retail daily/weekly reporting for the top management, coordinating all regional teams
  • Monitoring Retail profitability, focusing on channels and seasonality
  • Coordinate the WW retail global tracking of new openings and closures in conjunction with all the regional teams and the HQ Real Estate department
  • Support the top Management with presentation, dashboards and performance indicators on all relevant projects
  • Supporting the preparation of Earning release analysis requested by the Holding
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets, reforecasts and 3-year plans in conjunction with all the different teams involved in the process
  • Assisting in Monthly and Quarterly closings and provide comments and analysis vs budgets
  • Carry out regular business performance analysis, analysing variances from budget/forecast, with focus on subsidiaries in conjunction with the opex controlling and consolidation teams
  • Monitoring Retail Capex spending against investment budgets and highlighting areas of overspend

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)

3-5 years’ experience as business controller, consulting or audit

Background of experience in a Fashion/Luxury company is a plus

Fluent in English

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Planning tool/software, Hyperion and Tagetik a plus

Experience with business intelligence tools such as OBIEE and PowerBI is a plus

Good relationships skills, social intelligence and teamwork

Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills

Able to work under pressure in a complex & fast-changing environment
