About the role
To help transform how Treasury Wine Estates uses data within Finance by developing and delivering globally aligned reporting, analytics and automation capabilities. The role partners with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury Business Solutions and Commercial functions to standardise reporting, improve data governance, establish trusted performance metrics and leverage modern technologies including Power BI and AI to enable faster, more informed business decisions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions that drive consistency across regions and functions.
- Support the development of standardised KPIs, definitions and reporting frameworks to ensure alignment to a single version of the truth.
- Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards and self-service reporting solutions.
- Partner with central Data & Analytics teams to leverage enterprise data platforms, standards and best practices.
- Leverage modern technologies and automation tools to reduce administrative effort and increase value-added analysis.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities that improve efficiency, insight generation and business decision making.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline and improve existing reporting and analytical processes.
- Challenge legacy reporting approaches and recommend more effective solutions.
- Ensure finance reporting is accurate, timely and trusted by stakeholders.
- Contribute to the simplification and standardisation of finance reporting processes globally.
- Increase adoption of standardised reporting and reduce dependency on manual spreadsheet-based reporting.
- Ensure reporting assets support consistent decision making across the organisation.
- Improve reporting efficiency and scalability through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
About you
- 5+ years relevant experience in Data & Analytics or data-focussed role
- PowerBI (Advanced)
- SQL (Intermediate level)
- AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools, with an understanding of responsible AI practices, data governance and the secure handling of confidential business information
- Curiosity – A desire to understand data, ask insightful questions, and uncover hidden patterns and trends
- Demonstrated ability to ‘walk in the shoes of the users’, and to create simplicity from complexity so users can understand what is happening, and how to interpret reports
- Understanding of Finance and Budgeting & Forecasting processes is desirable
- Understanding of the responsible application of AI within Finance and Analytics, including the ability to use approved enterprise AI tools to enhance reporting, analysis and decision support while ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and appropriate use of financial information.
- Fluent English skill
