About You
You are a Senior Android Developer passionate about building high-quality, scalable mobile applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You enjoy developing new features, improving existing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-ready software.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and solid understanding of Java for maintaining legacy components.
- Experience building Android applications using MVVM architecture.
- Experience implementing Dependency Injection using Hilt, Dagger, or similar frameworks.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with modern Android libraries.
- Experience using Firebase services such as Remote Config or Feature Flags.
- Experience working with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
- Develop new features while supporting and improving existing application functionality.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, Platform, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android best practices and modern architectural patterns.
- Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and stability.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and support automated build and release workflows.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of the mobile platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and Android application architecture.
- Experience with MVVM, Hilt (or similar Dependency Injection frameworks), and REST API integration.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
