Responsibilities

Joining our team offers applicants the exciting opportunity to contribute their unique initiative, skills and expertise to directly influence enterprise change and the customer experience. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our digital communication technologies. The Digital Communication Experience team is dedicated to enabling a seamless and effective enterprise digital communication customer experience through technology development. You will be joining an experienced agile team where there is opportunity to learn new technologies, support Customer Profile & Preference, Communication Optimization Platform, and Customer Initiated Contact Request applications, and assist with our application’s architecture for resilience and performance improvements on AWS public cloud. As a software engineer on our team, you’ll also be helping the team produce the highest quality software possible by collaborating on design, knowledge sharing, and participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

We Are Looking for Full Stack Development Candidates with Some of the Following Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of engineering tools, processes, programming languages, and environments
  • Experience in some of the following programming languages and frameworks/libraries: Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot 3, Vue, Node.js, JSON, XML, CSS, Terraform
  • Knowledge or experience with AWS services and architecture
  • Experience in software engineering practices such as version control with GitLab, code quality using unit testing with code coverage, test automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery and other Agile practices.
  • 2-3+ years of production experience, coding enterprise-grade applications and service
  • Full Stack Development
  • Work experience in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and languages
  • Critical thinking skills to challenge current thinking and apply right technology to solve problems
  • Knowledge or experience with AI

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

  • Potential starting salary range: $85,000 - $125,500
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
