Full description
Lead projects that connect technology, operations and business improvement across a diverse Australian group.
KGIT is looking for an experienced Business & IT Project Manager to join our growing PMO and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of technology and business projects.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be managing one system from behind a desk. You’ll work across our businesses and manufacturing sites, delivering projects ranging from new site IT establishments and technology upgrades through to system integrations and broader business improvement initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
· Lead medium to large Business and IT projects from planning through to implementation.
· Coordinate business teams, IT specialists, site leaders and external vendors.
· Own project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting.
· Provide clear, concise updates to executives and Steering Committees.
· Identify risks early, resolve roadblocks and keep delivery on track.
· Manage vendors against agreed timelines, quality and cost.
· Support business readiness, communications, training and adoption.
· Work across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring 5–7 years’ experience delivering Business and IT projects within medium to large organisations, along with strong project governance and stakeholder management capability.
More importantly, you’ll be someone who can bring structure to complexity, hold people accountable and communicate confidently at every level of the business.
Experience with Jira, Kanban and structured PMO reporting is important, while technology integration, multi-site or multi-region environments and qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile will be highly regarded.
Why KGIT?
KGIT supports a diverse group of Australian businesses, giving you exposure to projects that have a genuine operational impact.
You’ll join at an exciting point in our technology journey, with the opportunity to work across IT, manufacturing and business operations and help shape how technology is delivered across the Group.
If you’re a practical, commercially minded Project Manager who likes taking ownership and getting things delivered, we’d love to hear from you.
