About this role
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to ensure brands onboard seamlessly to Highbeam — whether they’re new to the platform or expanding into additional products. You’ll sit between customers and internal teams, combining technical curiosity, operational rigor, and a strong customer mindset to guide setup, integrations, and adoption.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to solve problems in real time, streamline implementations, and create scalable processes that enhance the onboarding experience.
What you’ll do
- Lead onboarding for new and existing customers, ensuring a smooth, confident experience from setup through adoption
- Guide customers through integrations across banking, capital, cards, bill pay, and intelligence
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to troubleshoot issues and streamline handoffs
- Create and improve onboarding processes, documentation, and checklists to support scale
- Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously while keeping customers informed and confident
- Serve as a trusted partner to customers — translating complex workflows into clear action steps and driving momentum
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience across teams
Skills & qualifications
- 3+ years in onboarding, implementation, or solutions roles — ideally in fintech, SaaS, or ecommerce
- Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts simply and build trust with finance and operations leaders
- Process-driven and detail-oriented, with excellent organization and follow-through
- Comfortable working with Product and Engineering to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Quick learner with the ability to understand APIs, integrations, and financial systems
- Adaptable and collaborative in a fast-moving, startup environment
