Job Role Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Using their skills, knowledge and experience, they will evaluate business problems, design and develop data-driven solutions, formulate strategic recommendations and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. This analysis requires a strong foundation in data gathering, cleansing, analysis and reporting, with a focus on leveraging business intelligence tools and technologies to accomplish this objective.

In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to drive data excellence, strengthen system connectivity, and unlock actionable insights across the organization. You will help shape and enhance data governance practices, improve reporting and analytics capabilities, and support the delivery of innovative digital solutions that create tangible business value.

Working closely with stakeholders across Planning & Stewardship, Tax, Finance, and Digital teams, you will help drive data and integration solutions that support business objectives. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in accounting or financial reporting and brings a combination of financial acumen and digital expertise, enabling effective collaboration across functions and the delivery of data-driven improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with financial customers to help define product vision, data requirements, product roadmap and desired outcomes tied to value and consumption.
  • Set Product priorities and work with IT System of Delivery to understand overall ability to complete tasks within required planning cycles
  • Partner with Data & Solution Architects to ensure solutions adhere to modern standards
  • Partner with Product Managers to develop the product roadmap, release plans and align team-level constraints with program-level expectations
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision making
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement
  • Execute data validation, reconciliation, and analysis activities to identify and resolve data issues
  • Support master data management, governance activities, and data quality controls
  • Support automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives

About You

Skills and Qualifications

  • Financial accounting or reporting knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business analytics or Data Analytics, Business Administration with Analytics, or related fields
  • Minimum three years’ work experience, with at least one in accounting or financial reporting
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working with SQL databases
  • Experience with data management, data governance, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across global organizations

Nice to have:

  • Ideal candidate has education and/or experience in both a financial and a digital domain
  • Experience with Power Platform, Alteryx, SAP, Snowflake, Azure or other enterprise technologies
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Familiarity working with Non-SQL databases
  • Experience acting as technical lead or mentoring others
