In Poland, Shiji Group focuses on the development of the Shiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.

Job Description

Your job will be to develop a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. It is a

solution that allows hotel employees or hotel managers to handle various activities such as managing

reservations, payments and hotel services within the hotel or between hotels. The system consists of

many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. Approximately automation tests above 20 %

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Perform full regression tests on existing software implementations per internal test scripts and

QA processes

  • Test new code to ensure integration into existing systems meets functional requirements,

technical specifications

  • Create comprehensive test reports and raise bug tickets for issues found during testing
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues, providing development teams with sufficient details to

understand, replicate and resolve

  • Performing requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
  • Close cooperation with other teams to deliver distributed functionality
  • Ability to follow direction from a lead and manage priority changes as necessary
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years working in software | hardware testing field and ISTQB certification

completed

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of QA methodology
  • Knowledge on SDLC
  • Hands on experience with JIRA; Confluence; Swagger, Postman, Postgres, Kibana, Jenkins
  • MS Office, Edge, Chrome, Mobile platforms deep knowledge
  • Windows or Linux advanced user
  • Understanding of Cloud services
  • Understanding of network and internet connectivity
  • Ability to work with people from multi-cultural environments (different time zones)
  • Highly motivated and influential persona
  • Team player
  • Interest in different technologies
  • Fluent in English both speaking and writing
