Job Summary: The Product Marketing Manager manages customer product maintenance within the Corporate CFS Q labeling system, ensuring accurate labeling and compliance by collaborating with Regulatory Affairs and other departments on product updates. It oversees development and maintenance of brand and product marketing assets in the FS1 portal, while managing project and portal management for packaging, labeling, and data synchronization initiatives. Additionally, the position supports sales in packaging design and product development, drives improvement initiatives, and ensures EDI compliance through collaboration with IT and sales teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Product Maintenance & Compliance:

  • Manage Customer Product Maintenance within the Corporate CFS Q labeling system, ensuring accurate labeling for customer-specific portfolios.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to review and approve labels, ensuring accuracy of barcode data.
  • Work with sales, purchasing, processing, and analysts on product code modifications and updates across internal systems.

Marketing & Brand Asset Development:

  • Manage the development of brand/product assets, including images, styling guides, and marketing materials, while maintaining them within the FS1 company portal.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials including company presentations, consumer research, and packaging information.

Project & Portal Management:

  • Manage retail packaging and labeling projects for company brands and customer private labels.
  • Manage 3rd party and proprietary portals, ensuring data is entered, stored, and maintained properly, including overseeing the Syndigo portal for correct data synchronization.

Customer Support & Improvement Initiatives:

  • Assist sales and customers with packaging design process and product development/modification, coordinating with purchasing for processing.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, and lead or participate in implementing solutions.
  • Work with IT, Sales, and customers to ensure current product information for EDI compliance.

Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years applicable experience in business/ product marketing
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in poultry sales/ marketing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)  and good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite; Graphic/Photoshop software knowledge is desirable
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and external customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to handle and resolve most issues in an efficient and effective manner while ensuring confidential information is relayed only on a need-to-know basis
  • Ability to take direction and work independently to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects, planning skills, and a high attention to detail
  • Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • None. This is an individual contributor role

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing; Masters’ degree preferred
