Overview:

WiredPeople is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between the business community and IT teams. In this role, you will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, facilitate meetings across technical and program staff, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure technical solutions effectively meet the needs of the agency and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Facilitate meetings with business program staff to collect, analyze, and define system requirements and business processes.
  • Documentation & Process Mapping: Develop comprehensive project documentation, including process maps, workflow diagrams, flowcharts, and formal business requirements documents.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop test plans and test cases, perform functional testing on system changes, and lead/facilitate UAT sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder & Technical Facilitation: Facilitate meetings between technical staff and program business users; document decisions, track action items, and manage issues.
  • Project Support & Reporting: Produce detailed status reports regarding requirement implementations, deliverables, and project progress suitable for executive management.
  • Standards & Compliance: Adhere to Department IT processes and coordinate with IT teams to ensure full compliance with state standards, data security, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Cost Optimization: Collaborate with project managers and contract management to identify system efficiencies, common system errors, and cost-saving opportunities.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • UAT Methodologies: Minimum 5 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Core Documentation Tools: Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio for documentation and tracking.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional meetings, documenting decisions, and driving work task completion.
  • Regulatory/Licensing Systems: Minimum 4 years of experience implementing, integrating with, or maintaining MicroPact Versa Online and/or Versa Regulation products.
  • Status Reporting: Minimum 5 years of experience creating and presenting detailed status reports for management and executive stakeholders.
  • Project Delivery: Minimum 6 years of proven experience delivering IT projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and aligned with technical specifications.
