About the role
Insight Xcite is seeking a Data Architect / Data Engineer to support data acquisition, processing, integration, and management in McLean, Virginia. You will build and operate cloud-based data solutions and collaborate with engineers, customer stakeholders, and partner teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cloud infrastructure and data management, including AWS environments.
- Build and execute ETL pipelines and integrate data flows with enterprise systems.
- Process data using Python and distributed data platforms, and support SQL and NoSQL data environments.
- Work across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Diagnose problems independently and communicate solutions clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure, data management, and AWS.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Experience conducting data processing activities and working with Python.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing ETL pipelines and integrating data flows with enterprise systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and proactively solve problems.
- Clear communication with technical and nontechnical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools, and environments.
- Experience with large language models and agentic workflows.
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
- Experience supporting a hard-target mission area.

Work Location
This position is onsite in McLean, Virginia. Remote and hybrid work are not offered.
