Data Scientist

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end functionalities on an AWS cloud-based big data platform, focused on data analysis and processing.
  • Actively participate in discussions around feature architecture and the definition of the required data flows and processes.
  • Create proof of concepts (PoCs).
  • Develop production versions, test them, deploy them to the cloud across development, QA, and production environments, monitor their initial operation, and perform debugging and ongoing maintenance/enhancements.
  • Document the functionalities developed.
  • Provide support for data extraction and exploratory data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience with Python, particularly in data manipulation and processing.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (preferred).
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
