Our Solutions Architects team is seeking candidates to join our AWS team with a variety of skills to help shape and deliver on our cloud strategy for our global customers and partners. As a solutions architect, you will be on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, linking technology with measurable business value for organizations ranging from start-ups to large, enterprise customers. You will be a trusted customer advocate, helping our partners understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

Key job responsibilities - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, building relationships with senior stakeholders to influence their cloud adoption strategy and technology direction - Lead end-to-end solution design for complex workloads, making architectural trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, and cost - Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, professional services, support, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive technical solutions aligned to customer business outcomes - Develop and deliver technical content (reference architectures, design patterns, presentations) and represent AWS as a thought leader at industry events and customer engagements - Mentor and develop other Solutions Architects while translating customer feedback into actionable product and service improvement recommendations

- This role is within the Mexico organization and you would be working with Public Sector customers.

Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals - Experience working with end user or developer communities - Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures - Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private - Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
