Exp 5-7 yrs Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Purpose

The Services Execution QA Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and business readiness of all solutions within the Services Execution domain.

The role owns the testing strategy, test execution governance, defect management, and release quality activities across Services xecution platforms like Salesforce/ServiceMax and related integrations. The QA Lead ensures that the end to end Services Execution processes meet business, functional, performance, and integration requirements before deployment.

The role serves as the quality authority for the Services Execution squad and works closely with Product Owners, Business Process Owners, Application Analysts, Solution Leads, Developers, and Technical Leads

Key Responsibilities

Domain Quality Ownership

  • Own end-to-end quality assurance for Services Execution capabilities.
  • Ensure quality across:
  • Work Order Management
  • Service Planning & Scheduling
  • Dispatching
  • Technician Mobility
  • Field Service Execution
  • Spare Parts Consumption
  • Time & Expense Capture
  • Service Reporting
  • Service Completion & Closure
  • Contract Fulfilment
  • Workforce Management
  • Act as the primary quality representative for the Services Execution squad.

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define testing approaches for new features, enhancements, and major releases.
  • Develop test plans and regression testing strategies.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and solution designs.
  • Maintain reusable test cases, test libraries, and testing standards.

Functional & Integration Testing

  • Validate business processes across:
  • Service Execution platforms (bFS, ServiceMax, Salesforce)
  • ERP systems (SAP ECC / S4HANA)
  • Mobility solutions
  • Middleware and integration platforms
  • Reporting and analytics solutions
  • Verify end-to-end process continuity across systems.
  • Ensure upstream and downstream integrations behave as expected.
  • Validate data quality and transactional consistency.

Quality Assurance Execution

  • Coordinate and execute:
  • Functional Testing
  • System Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing support
  • Review test results and identify quality risks.
  • Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and defects.

Defect Management

  • Lead defect triage activities.
  • Classify defects by severity, business impact, and priority.
  • Partner with development teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Validate defect fixes and regression impacts.
  • Track and report defect trends and quality metrics.
  • Automation & Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to increase test automation coverage.
  • Support development of automated test suites for critical business scenarios.
  • Promote shift-left testing practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing standards and methodologies.

Release & Deployment Readiness

  • Assess release readiness from a quality perspective.
  • Ensure all critical business processes meet predefined quality criteria.
  • Participate in Go/No-Go decision forums.
  • Support production validation and hypercare activities after deployment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to leadership.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience in Service Execution, Field Service Management, Workforce Management, or Enterprise Service Operations platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ServiceMax, bFS, SAP, or similar enterprise ecosystems.
  • Experience leading SIT, UAT, and complex integration testing activities.
  • Experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting global deployments and multi-country releases.
